Tuesday, October 16, 2018:  RAVEN ROCK in Keowee-Toxaway State Park

Description:  Let’s hike nearby since there is a chance of rain in the afternoon.  This moderate/difficult 5 mile features a natural bridge and overlook on the Raven Rock outcropping.    Click here for details.

Directions:  (GPS 34.9318, -82.88641)  Meet, pool, and depart as usual from Keowee Key Event Parking lot (KKEPA) at 8:45 AM OR go directly to the Raven Rock trailhead in Keowee-Toxaway State Park for a 9:15AM hike.

Thursday, October 18, 2018:  PANTHERTOWN SOUTH

Description:  This moderate 8 mile hike features two waterfalls and an outlook on top of Big Green Mountain.  Bring a small towel (or an extra pair of socks) – high water may necessitate taking your boots off to cross Panthertown creek. Click here for details.

Directions:  (GPS: 35.165286, -83.049344)  Meet, pool, and depart from Keowee Key Event Parking lot (KKEPA) or Warthers in Walhalla at 8:30AM.  Reassemble at Sloan Bridge Picnic area for a 9:15AM departure.
