A trio of hikers decided to try the Bill Kimball trail and were rewarded with huge granite walls, hiking about 8 miles in all.

Thirteen Ramblers enjoyed a gorgeous fall day on this four mile hike. We met a lovely couple from Israel early on and they joined our group for most of the hike.

Though off to a rainy and muddy start, several ramblers biked 34 miles on the Virginia Creeper Trail. The afternoon was beautiful and everyone dried out having good stories to tell and laugh about.

Fourteen hiked 6 miles on the Rhododendron and Appalachian Trails. The three wild ponies were the highlight of a very special hike.

Fourteen hiked 4 miles. Although everyone got quite wet, it was fun. Hair dryers do a pretty good job of drying wet shoes.
Sixteen hiked to the cable crossing, fourteen continued on to Moonshine and Confusion Falls on a picture perfect hiking day!

Eight hightailed it to Highlands to beat the heat and hike a pleasant 4 miles. Light purple was the color of the day for hiking shirts.

Five enjoyed a beautiful 6.5 mile hike with cooler temps in Dupont Forest. We enjoyed watching the bikers walk their bikes across the water while we lunched.

Eight trekked up Chinquapin and down to Glen Falls. What started out as a chilly morning for mid May, turned into a beautiful day to hike about 5 miles.

Sixteen hikers spent a beautiful day hiking to Rainbow Falls in Jones Gap State Park. Low water allowed for crossing the falls for lunch on the other side. The trek was 5 miles total out and back.

Nine hiked Pinnacle Mountain to Bald Knob on a beautiful and windy day. Round trip including the spur to Mill Creek Falls was about 8 miles.
