Rabun Bald

Eight enjoyed the scenic views of Rabun Bald, with an additional add on down the road.  We visited the Muddy Creek Falls located in the Sky Valley Community.  We took advantage of a trail near the Falls which added another mile to our trek making a total of seven miles.

Lee Falls

February 28, 2023

11 hikers had a lovely day visiting one of the prettiest waterfalls in Oconee County. Even though the hike itself was only 4 miles, several stream crossings made it a bit tricky. There were plenty of wet feet, but lots of helping hands made it a lot easier.

Three Forks on the Upper Chattooga

October 20, 2022

Eight hikers trekked 6.7 miles through lush foliage. The initial creek crossing was not as difficult because of low water. Thankfully, no one got wet. We hiked to the junction of the Holcomb, Overflow and Big Creek streams that form the west Branch of the Chattooga River. A beautiful spot for lunch was enjoyed by all.
