Brushy challenges across trail did abound, snow like powered sugar was sprinkled all around. Twenty-one came out today. Maybe felt a little like Benton MacKaye. (~8.5 mi)

Wary of black ice, we delayed our start but 15 hikers had warm hearts. Five trails we rambled seeing old mill remains, big hole, and waterfall, and yes, we had a ball. (5.1 miles over RC Edwards Trail, Big Hole Loop, Twelve Mile Loop, Vic’s Trail, Anthill Trail and Old Six Mile Highway)

From the canyon floor to top of the ridge, nineteen marveled at four great waterfalls and a suspension bridge. North Rim to South Rim, just about 4 miles in all, almost 600 stairs, let’s do it again next fall!
A crisp fall day brought out twenty two, for a beautiful hike with quite the view. All the while we were hikin’ there was lots to be “lichen”. Trekked nearly six and got our Round Mountain fix.
Twelve played possum, found it awesome. Five point one-eighth miles plus more for lunch made for a happy bunch.
To earn a view, twenty-six hiked seven plus miles under sky of blue. Some trekked farther for glimpse of Slicking Falls and Table Rock Reservoir – a great day for all!
There were 18 in the mob, that trekked to Tamassee Knob; Copperhead and all, it was a beautiful Fall, y’all, and we all had a ball.
Three miles and five branch crossings brought smiles to all as nineteen hiked to Yellow Branch Falls.
Hiking Keowee Heights section of Clemson Forest brought twenty one smiles over seven miles.
A record group of thirty one, went to Chattooga Narrows just for fun. Over and under, atop, along side, it was quite an adventure, cannot be denied. (5.6 miles)
Twenty six used their sticks, to cross the streams, en route to the waterfall of our dreams!
Twenty five hikers enjoyed this beautiful 7 mile hike at Big Bend North
Twenty-seven descended to the Valley’s creeks and falls, and gazed upon Panthertown’s Great Wall. Ascended up Big Green’s granitic dome, a pluton formed eons ago by magma beneath it’s tectonic home. Then back we traversed to Granny Burrell’s Falls and up to Salt Rock’s overlook, eight miles in all.
Raven Rock was the game, twenty four was the score. Five miles picture perfect, all quoth evermore!
All twenty were able to cross the cable on the way to Moonshine Falls. A delightful conclusion, a new path to Confusion 6.5 miles in all.
To the top of Whiteside seventeen ascended. All agreed the view was really quite splendid! Couldn’t quite find the courthouse where the devil descended. Hiked nearly four before the trek ended.
On a gorgeous day twenty seven hiked about five. Two falls were beautiful except for the angry hornet hive!

Seventeen hiked seven miles on the trail Cedar Rock, Some went on to Caesar’s Head but only saw one hawk.
Fourteen braved temps in the eighties and miles hiked totaled seven. It was hotter than Hades but the views were from Heaven.
Seventeen hikers got caught in a bit of rain. No worries here, the hike was great just the same. Lunch at Caesar’s Head after the hike, provided an extra unexpected delight! (6.5 miles)
Three men and twelve ladies started out on the trail. At Rainbow we added another female. Sixteen was the total, most saw all four falls. Overcast skies kept us shaded, 5.5 miles in all.
From top of mountain to top of falls, eighteen had a ball. Took trail that was wrong, but not for long. Hiked ‘bout six, we sure got our kicks. Great day, good friends, let’s do it again.
